A few degrees makes a big difference!

True North is an organization that was founded in Durbanville (Cape Town - South Africa), and has now spread its wings to an even wider audience. We are passionate about working with the youth. We arrange adventure camps and we act as consultants with schools regarding a wide variety of youth environments, including career guidance, counseling and life coaching. We arrange sport initiatives, local and international school tours, corporate team building and other fun activities

The ‘True North’ name and ‘Compass’ logo represent making the correct choices in life. We often find ourselves following the direction in life that is most popular but not necessarily the best option for our lives. The right direction in life is often very similar at the start to the direction the crowd may follow, but the end result differs vastly. This is the difference between true north and magnetic north. We may think we are going in the direction of true north, but find ourselves a few degrees off and ending up at a ‘false’ north. In principle it only differs a few degrees, but it has a massively different result! To stand for the right values and principles is to follow your ‘True North’ as we call it. It embodies the principle that Jesus talks about in the Bible of the ‘narrow path’ and the ‘wide path’. This is the philosophy behind the name of True North. ‘ A few degrees make a big difference’.
